Christmas Offering

Donating to BCC/UMHC for Christmas

Each year we here at United Methodist Homes for Children and Board of Child Care strive to provide enriching experiences throughout the calendar months, but especially so through the Holidays. Many of the families we serve have not had the opportunity to provide these children with a Holiday season of warmth and plenty. With your help, we can provide these memorable moments; showing Love in tangible ways. For 2020, we have several ways we are asking for our community partners to join with us to make a child’s Holidays a little brighter:

  • Gift Sponsorship. We work with kids each year as they write out their wish lists, totaling $100 per child. If you, your congregation, or group would like to support our youth through monetary donations, we will use these funds to make these gift wishes come true.

  • “Red Stocking” Offering – For many, the Board of Child Care Red Stocking is a part of a holiday tradition. To make it a part of your family or congregation’s tradition, we can provide donation brochures and envelopes for distribution in churches, as well as Red Stocking Coin Cards for kids and kids at heart to collect coins for the Christmas Offering. If your congregation or group would like to participate, please request supplies at boardofchildcare.org/supplies

Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting our youth this Holiday season and making hearts and trees a little fuller. If one (or both) of these options would be a good fit for you, your congregation, or group, we want to partner with you! All donations to UMHC are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. You can make a secure online donation directly using the form below:
